Nymagee
Nymagee is a small rural town located 100km South of Cobar in Western NSW. Nymagee is a historical mining town that is surrounded by hidden hills, countryside and spectacular views. Nymagee is also home to “Clancy of the Overflow” a poem written by the famous bush poet Banjo Paterson. The Sheep station “The Overflow” featured in the poem is situated about 32km South-East of Nymagee. Nymagee has a vibrant local community that is the heart of the town.

Canbelego
Canbegelgo is a village of Cobar Shire. Canbelego is a historic mining town and in 1905, the population had been around 1500 people. A short drive from Canbelego is Mount Boppy. Mount Boppy gives spectacular views of the surrounds and the road meanders through countryside varying from woodland to thick mallee. The original Mount Boppy Gold Mine operated from 1901-1922 and at the time was regarded as being the largest gold producers in New South Wales.
Mount Hope
Mount Hope is located 160km South of Cobar. Mount Hope in its glory days was a vibrant copper mining township that was home to many during the copper boom years. Today the remaining business at Mount Hope is the Royal Hotel (commonly referred to as the “Mount Hope Pub”) which offers food, beverage and accommodation. The Royal Hotel was first granted its license in 1881 as the New Mount Hope Copper Mining Company built its infrastructure and commenced mining in the area. Today the Royal claims to have the only concrete bar in New South Wales. Call in and visit the local pub and enjoy a stop-over in Mount Hope.
Euabalong
Euabalaong is a small town in Western New South Wales and located 230km South of Cobar. Euabalong town is right on the Lachlan River bend, with beautiful water views and offers the perfect nature landscapes. A RV friendly town that has a small caravan park that runs off an honesty system. If you are after unspoiled raw nature and true off-the-grid experience, Euabalong is the perfect destination.
